I'm sure that I have lots more to learn, but I'm having a go at doing it myself. I'm trusting the guys over at DiSo to keep turning up the heat! :) I'll have to look closer at the security issues though, you raise a good point. I sign in using markjaquith.com even though I'm not running OpenID software myself. I delegate it to a third party provider. They worry about security and keeping up with spec edge cases.
